Party plan remix: one good idea, made yours.

Choose an existing ideas.party plan, then shape it for your group, energy, setting, budget and one defining constraint. The same six inputs always produce the same structured plan.

Remix Machine

Set the six planning inputs.

The base idea comes directly from the existing IDEAS_DB. No random result, popularity score or remote recommendation is used.

What the machine changes

  1. Scale: team count, activity length and setup volume follow group size.
  2. Energy: the run of show gets a low-key, social or high-energy structure.
  3. Setting: layout, weather, screen and permission checks are made explicit.
  4. Budget: reusable substitutions and one-item spending priorities are fixed by tier.
  5. Constraint: one rule is applied to supplies, core steps and closeout.

Deterministic by design

A public remix network without a public inbox.

01

Pick a published base

Every remix starts with a named plan already present in the site database. The source catalog stays visible and attributable.

02

Apply fixed rules

The same inputs always follow the same order: scale, energy, setting, budget, then your single constraint.

03

Keep control local

No one receives the result unless you choose to copy or share it. Reset removes the page state and URL fragment.

Party remix questions

Does the Remix Machine submit my party plan?

No. The Remix Machine runs in your browser. It has no submission form, account, API write or moderation queue, and it does not send the selected plan to ideas.party.

Will the same choices always produce the same plan?

Yes. The tool uses fixed adaptation rules for each base idea, group size, energy, setting, budget and constraint. It does not use random selection.

What stays in my browser?

The current inputs and result remain on the page. A share link can encode the selected inputs in the URL fragment, which browsers do not send in the page request. Sharing is optional and only happens when you use a share or copy control.
